Azerbaijan and Oman will expand contractual-legal basis for cooperation. This agreement was reached during Omani Foreign Minister Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah's meeting with his Azerbaijani Counterpart Elmar Mammadyarov in Baku today.
Receiving his Omani counterpart, who is on official visit to Baku, Mammadyarov expressed his satisfaction with the current level of bilateral relations.
He thanked the Omani leadership for its support to Azerbaijan in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict on the international arena.
Expressing his satisfaction with the Omani-Azerbaijani political relations, Alawi bin Abdullah noted the need for development of relations in economic, cultural and other spheres.
The sides also noted the importance of holding joint days of culture to expand cultural cooperation between the two countries.
