Thirty-Nine Azerbaijani Candidates Recommended for Prosecutor Vacancies

Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend К.Zarbaliyeva / Examinations were held to fill eighty vacancies for Azerbaijani prosecutors which were taken in two stages, namely a test and an interview.

The Public Prosecutor reported that in order to reveal the outlook level, logical thinking as well as other qualities from candidates was necessary to work in the Prosecutor's office. The Competition Commission at the Azerbaijani Prosecutor General held interviews from 23 May to 29 June.

Thirty-nine candidates were recommended to fill the prosecutor vacancies and their documents were submitted to the Azerbaijani Prosecutor General.

Some 545 candidates attended the examinations held in 25 November 2006. In compliance with the Azerbaijani legislation, 303 candidates, who collected 60 or more points, were admitted to the next stage of the competition. Also in compliance with changes injected into the legislation, 45 candidates were advised that they would be eligible to attend the second stage of exams once they had completed military service.
