The winners of the intellectual competition on 86th anniversary of Azerbaijan's national leader Heydar Aliyev have been announced.
A total of 30 youth teams participated in the competition, ruling New Azerbaijan Party's Youth Organization chairman Ramil Hasanov, who organized the competition, said.
"Young people answered the questions about life and activities of national leader Heydar Aliyev. Three teams won the Olympiad," Hasanov said at the awarding ceremony.
NAP deputy executive secretary and member of parliament Siyavush Novruzov said the competition deserves praise. "Intellectual competitions show that Azerbaijani youth is well aware of life, activities and political line of the national leader," Novruzov said.
Winner teams were awarded cups, diplomas and money prizes.
Azerbaijan's national leader Heydar Aliyev was born on May 10, 1923 in Nakhchivan.
