On October 8, during the court session on the criminal case of the former senior official of the Head Investigation Department of the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry Haji Mammadov and the criminal gang headed by him, the Judge announced the court session close when the Military Prosecutor of Ganja city Namig Muradov started providing evidences. The court session on the case of Mammadov and his gang comprising of 25 persons, is held in the Court of Heinous Crimes of Azerbaijan under the Chair of Judge Ali Seyfaliyev, Trend reports
The Judge explained his decision with the issue that the main part of the evidences is linked with the former Department Chief of the Department for fight with Drugs of the Interior Ministry, Azer Ismaylov. All evidences on this episode should be close because of Ismaylov's affair with a woman that is remembered in the information about his assassination.
During the open court session, the employee of the Khizi Police Department Mehman Mammadov was questioned. He said in his evidences that in 1995, after the police department received information that a dead body was discovered in ravine of Bashli village, the police employees went to the place of incident. We could not find the dead body and understood that somebody was here before us. I do not know what happened later. This information is kept by the Head of the Department, he said.
The employee of the Police Department of Garadagh Head Investigation Department Aydin Ibrahimov provided evidences. He stressed that after receiving information that three dead bodies have been discovered in Gurd gapisi, he went to the place of incident with the operation group. This incident was auto crash. We collected the data and submitted the documents to the Prosecutor's Office of Garadagh district. I do not know what happened later, he said.
This fact was registered as automobile accident, but the dead bodies Boris Ayyubov, Shirkhan Albiyev and a woman named Dilbar that were found in the car, were the members of Mammadov's gang. This automobile accident was Mammadov's work.
