ASTANA, Kazakhstan, November 26. As of October 31, 2024, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) maintains a project portfolio in Kazakhstan valued at 2.96 billion euros, spanning 127 active projects, Trend reports.
Bank data shows that 71 percent of the portfolio is dedicated to sustainable infrastructure projects, with investments totaling 2.1 billion euros.
Industrial, trade, and agricultural projects account for 22 percent of the portfolio, amounting to 642 million euros, while the financial sector represents 7 percent, with investments reaching 205 million euros.
Overall, the EBRD has invested more than 10.4 billion euros across 332 projects in Kazakhstan.
