BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 29. The volume of trade operations between Azerbaijan and China from January through October this year amounted to $3.15 billion.
Data obtained by Trend from the country's State Customs Committee shows that this is $441.2 million (14.5 percent) more than in the same period last year.
During the reporting period, trade turnover with China amounted to 7.66 percent of Azerbaijan's total trade turnover.
Azerbaijan exported products worth $14.3 million to Russia over ten months, which is 80.5 percent more than in the same period last year. During this period, China accounted for 0.25 percent of Azerbaijan's total exports.
In addition, Azerbaijan increased imports of products from China by 20.01 percent year-on-year from January through October of this year, bringing it to $3.1 billion. During this period, import operations with China amounted to 17.64 percent of the country's total imports.
