ASTANA, Kazakhstan, January 20. Air Astana of Kazakhstan is expanding its route network to China with a new flight to Guangzhou, which will start on March 30, 2025, Trend reports via Air Astana.
"Flights to Guangzhou will be operated three times a week—on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays—on a comfortable Airbus A321LR. The departure from Almaty will be at 20:50, with arrival in Guangzhou the next day at 05:45. The return flight from Guangzhou departs at 06:50, arriving in Almaty at 10:20 local time," the company said.
To note, Air Astana currently operates seven flights per week to Beijing from Almaty and Astana, as well as 4 flights per week to Urumqi from Almaty. Kazakhstani citizens can stay in China without a visa for up to 30 days.
