BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 1. Azerbaijan exported 11,800 tons of ceramic goods last year, raking in a cool $2.6 million.
The data obtained by Trend from the State Customs Committee shows that this figure grew by $1.3 million (2.1 times) in value, and 8,600 tons (3.7 times) in volume, compared to 2023.
The exportation of ceramic goods in the reporting year constituted a mere 0.04 percent of the nation's overall export volume.
In the same period last year, Azerbaijan's imports of ceramic products totaled $117.7 million, reflecting a decrease of $15 million (11.3 percent) compared to 2023.
In 2024, ceramic imports represented a mere 0.56 percent of the nation's overall import figures.
