BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 13. A total of 3.53 billion manat ($2 billion) in mortgage loans have been issued to 54,617 borrowers through the Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund (MCGF) to date, the Fund told Trend.
Furthermore, the aggregate quantum of credit facilities
bolstered by fiscal assurances and financial incentives has reached
549.4 million manat ($323.1 million).
The Fund has disclosed the allocation of 7,263 housing units via
rent-to-own frameworks.
The MCGF was established in late 2017 through the merger of the Azerbaijan Mortgage Fund and the Credit Guarantee Fund OJSCs and serves as the legal successor of both entities.
