In January-June 2018, population’s bank deposits in Azerbaijan’s districts totalled 665.3 million manats, which is 18.1 percent more compared to early 2018, according to a report of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
The share of Azerbaijan’s districts made up 8.2 percent in the total volume of all bank deposits in the country in late June 2018.
Around 75.78 percent (504.14 million manats) of all deposits in the country's districts account for savings in the national currency.
In late June 2018 in Baku, the volume of deposits amounted to 7.44 billion manats, including 2.54 billion manats in national currency.
In June 2018, the average annual interest rate on loans in the country's districts and in Baku was 4.1 percent.
