Azerbaijani engineering company Texno-Atinak plans to participate in new water and sewage projects abroad till the end of the current year, Elnur Ahmadov, executive director of the company, told Trend.
According to the director, this includes laying water and sewer pipes in Uzbekistan.
"We are currently working on the completion of the largest project for laying water supply and sewage systems: 90 percent of the installation of 160 kilometers of polyethylene pipes has already been completed. Currently, we are in active negotiations with Uzbek partners on new projects in this country. We have received proposals for laying plumbing and sewer pipes in the regions of Uzbekistan. The details of the forthcoming work are currently being discussed. In case specific agreements are met, we plan to sign the contracts before the end of this year," Ahmadov said.
He also noted that the projects will be financed by the World Bank, as well as by the government of Uzbekistan.
The director added that along with the implementation of infrastructure projects abroad, the company is also engaged in the rental of various equipment and technical means including excavators, loaders, mobile and tower cranes and compressors for the implementation of infrastructure projects.
Texno-Atinak was established in 2011 to implement infrastructure projects in the region.
