Limestone pellets production at Iran's Pir Bakran Complex increases

BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 7. The limestone pellet production of Iran’s Pir Bakran Limestone Complex in Isfahan Province (central Iran) increased by 13.5 percent, during the first nine months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022, through December 21, 2022), compared to the same period last Iranian year, head of the complex Hamid Montazeri said, Trend reports citing Iran Minerals Production and Supply Company (IMPASCO).

According to Montazeri, the Pir Bakran Complex produced about 700,000 tons of limestone pellets in 9 months, while in the same period last Iranian year, the figure stood at approximately 617,000 tons.

“Within 9 months, a total of 700,545 tons of limestone minerals were extracted in the complex which is 26 percent more than in the same period last Iranian year. So, the figure was 554,683 tons in the same period last Iranian year,” he added.

As for the sales of the complex, the official said that the sale of Pir Bakran Complex amounted to 632,945 tons in 9 months. This is 12 percent more than in the same period last Iranian year.
