Iranian Oil Minister Rostam Qasemi has issued the order to complete exploration operations and studies to estimate the amount of oil reserves in Moghan, northwest of Iran.
According to Pana news agency, a group of experts consisting of 45-members from the National Iranian Oil Company have started seismic operations for oil exploration in the region.
Preliminary studies prove the existence of oil reserves in the region.
But further studies are required to specify the exact amount of deposits.
