Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov has received Kyrgyz Deputy Foreign Minister Dinara Kemelova in Ashgabat, the Turkmen Foreign Ministry said in a message Dec. 13.
During their conversation, the sides stressed sufficient potential and prospects for effective cooperation in the fuel and energy as well as transport sectors.
“The parties expressed confidence that the meetings held on a regular basis will contribute to the further development of mutually beneficial cooperation in all areas,” the message said.
In turn, Kyrgyzstan's Foreign Ministry said in a press release that the parties discussed organization of visits at the highest level and preparation of a meeting of the Turkmen-Kyrgyz intergovernmental commission on trade-economic, scientific-technical and humanitarian cooperation.
