Georgia imported electricity from Azerbaijan worth $13.56 million from January through February 2021, Trend reports with reference to the National Statistical Office of Georgia (Geostat).
This figure increased by $212,500 or 1.6 percent compared to the same period last year.
So, in the first two months of 2020, Georgia imported electricity from Azerbaijan in the amount of $13.35 million.
In the reporting period, Georgian goods worth $12.8 million were sold to Azerbaijan. On an annualized basis, the rate increased by 18 percent.
The share of the Azerbaijani market in the country's domestic export is 3.5 percent, which makes it the ninth largest exporter of Georgia.
