ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, February 17. The plan for the production of oil and gas condensate in Turkmenistan in January this year was fulfilled at the level of 100.3 percent, Trend reports.
This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Government of Turkmenistan Batyr Amanov at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on February 16, 2024.
According to him, in particular, in the specified month, the plan for the production of oil and gas condensate by the Turkmennebit State Concern was fulfilled by 100.1 percent.
Furthermore, Amanov noted that the implementation of the oil refining plan at the refineries of the Turkmennebit State Concern in January this year amounted to 101.9 percent.
Meanwhile, in light of the desire to diversify the economy and strengthen its position in the global energy market, Turkmenistan is focusing on the development of its oil and gas sector.
This process includes the modernization and expansion of infrastructure, attracting foreign investment to increase production and exports of oil and gas, as well as the active development of new technologies and production methods.
