BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 7. Trading volume on the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange increased dramatically in August 2022, Trend reports with reference to the monthly review of the exchange.
The volume of trading on the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange in August 2022 increased by almost 18 times compared to the same month in 2021 (218.4 million soms, or $2.6 million) - up to 3.91 billion soms ($48.3 million).
During the reporting month, the largest part of transactions was carried out on the primary market of the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange - 3.90 billion soms ($48.2 million).
While, on the secondary market, the amount of transactions in August this year amounted to only 6.6 million soms ($81,851).
Notably, the shares of Bishkekteploset OJSC, Kyrgyztelecom OJSC and Manas International Airport OJSC had the greatest influence on the change in the index and capitalization in August.
