Turkmenistan shares weekly data for transactions on its commodity exchange

BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 31. The total amount of transactions in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan amounted to about $2.3 million last week, Trend reports citing Turkmenportal.

Entrepreneurs from Afghanistan purchased liquefied gas produced at the Turkmenbashi Oil Processing Complex on the exchange. Businessmen from Türkiye and Serbia also purchased cotton yarn and licorice root extract.

Representatives of the business circles of Turkmenistan purchased petroleum coke, base oil, polypropylene, technical sulfur and handmade carpets on the exchange for the domestic market for a total amount of more than 155.6 million Turkmen manats ($44.5 million).

A total of 37 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
