The era of extremism is over, and the sole way to save Iran is moderation and constructive interaction, Iran's President Hassan Rouhani said, Trend reports citing IRNA.
“During the last 8 years, different factions had different tastes, but both factions (i.e. Reformists and Conservatives) were optimistic about the future,” Rouhani said during his last meeting with top officials.
He went on to say that the country should be a model country for the region and the world by constructively relations with neighbors, allies and the world.
The president thanked all health workers and related officials including the ministers of health, interior, Industry and the Foreign Affairs, for providing the COVID-19 vaccine.
"We are still facing problems as Iran is battling the 5th wave of COVID-19," Rouhani said.
He pointed out that his government faced several unexpected turns during the last 8 years - such as floods, COVID-19, devastating earthquakes, the US withdrawal from JCPOA, etc.
