Additional funds allocated to strengthen activity of Azerbaijani diaspora organizations
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on additional measures to strengthen the activity of the Azerbaijani diaspora organizations.
According to the decree, three million manat envisaged in the state budget-2016 will be allocated from the president's reserve fund to the State Committee on Work with Diaspora.
The funds will be allocated to enhance the activity of Azerbaijani diaspora organizations to effectively use the potential of the Azerbaijani diaspora in terms of the new realities of the changing world, informing the international community about the realities of Azerbaijan through modern information technologies, promoting ancient history and rich cultural heritage of the Azerbaijani people, protecting the rights and freedoms of compatriots, strengthening the state support for the projects accelerating the integration into the society.
