Flood in Majene and Poliwali Mandar regencies of Indonesia's West Sulawesi province has washed away 30 houses, claimed four lives while two others were missing, reports said Sunday.
The four victims were found in Tinambung district of Poliwali Mandar, Antara news agency Sunday quoted rescue team coordinator Salma as saying.
"We are still looking for the missing people and evacuating residents trapped in the flood," he said, adding that rescue team from local administration had set up camps on higher ground to accommodate refugees, reported Xinhua .
Flood has washed away 30 houses in Tinambung and Wonomulyo districts in the past three days. One-meter high flood has inundated several public offices and facilities, including schools, traditional markets and mosques.
