Azerbaijan, Baku, 5 Dec / Trend corr. K.Zarbaliyeva/ Azerbaijan sustained three mine blasts in November 2008. The mine blasts took place in Gapanli village in Terter region, Garabulag village in Agdam region and Shparti village in Khojavand region, Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) said on 5 Dec.
Since Sep 2001, 61 people died and 138 sustained injuries from 105 mine blasts in Azerbaijan.
In November, ANAMA cleared from mines 1.480mln sq m and neutralized 5,297 unexploded ammunition (PHS) and mines.
So far, ANAMA has cleared from mines 77,772,980 sq m and neutralized 367,639 unexploded ammunition (PHS) and mines.
ANAMA clears Terter, Agdam, Fuzuli and Agstafa regions.
