Azerbaijani, Baku, Dec. 13/ Trend , S. Kazimli/ Two people who remained under the debris of the blasted building in 34, Nakhchivani street in Nizami district of Baku were identified, Baku Prosecutor Aziz Seyidov said at the scene.
"Those who were recovered from under debris are Alirzayeva Tamilla and Vtali Volometov," Seyidov said.
According to him, the injured people were also identified - Alirzayeva Aylin (born in 2006), Gurbanova Narasta (1939), Mahmudova Oxana (unknown), Kerimov Agamir (1962), Kerimov Shirkhan (1985), Mursalova Afet (1965).
A blast took place in a bloc of flats in front of market in 34, Nakhchivani street in Nizami district of Baku at 8:30a.m on Dec.13. Five flats of the building have totally collapsed.
Up to now, the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan have recovered 8 people from under debris as a result of blast in a bloc of flats in Baku, Etibar Mirzayev, Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations, briefed the media at the scene on Dec. 13. He said that two of the recovered people have died.
The blast is said to be caused by a gas leak, Seyidov said earlier. The prosecutor said law enforcement agencies will arrest those responsible for the blast.
Six people including one child have been recovered from under the debris, Azerbaijan's Minister of Emergency Situations Kamaladdin Heydarov said to Trend in the first hours after the incident.
The Ministry was informed about the blast at 08:23a.m. According to preliminary reports, blast took place because of a gas leak, minister said. The gas leak may be caused by repairs in one of the flats on the fourth stage, Heydarov said.
