The Azerbaijani Football Federation Association (AFFA) president Rovnag Abdullayev did not rule out the possible appeal to the General Prosecutor's Office due to the accusation of corruption against FIFA referees Babak Guliyev and Anar Niyazov.

"We have created all conditions for referees. We have increased fees and for the first time in the history of our football we have organized training camps for overseas referees. However, the recent events do not please us," Abdullayev said at a news conference.

According to AFFA's decision, FIFA's two referees suspended from refereeing.

"Even the suspicion is enough for us to make a decision against referees. We have evidence against Guliyev and Niyazov. We have always follow fairness. We may appeal to the General Prosecutor's Office," said AFFA president.
