The Azerbaijani women national football team U-19 gained victory in the first match of the second qualifying stage of the European Championship.
The team's rival was the team of Portugal where all matches of the current qualifying stage are taking place. Thanks to goals of Anna Ataeva and Narmina Rzayeva, the team won with 2:0 score.
Another match of the group resulted in the French teams' victory over Wales with 4:1 score.
The Azerbaijani team will hold the next match with Wales at 20:00 Baku time on April 25.
