Number of Azerbaijani State Property Issues Committee employees punished for deficiencies

Last year, 16 civil servants working in institutions part of the State Committee on Property Issues, were brought to disciplinary liability for breaking the rules of ethical conduct and shortcomings in the execution of orders and other job functions, the state committee told Trend on Monday.

Ten of those employees were reprimanded, and six were dismissed from their posts.

Property Issues and the agencies within it was approved in order to refine the rules of ethical conduct and their implementation.

At the same time, issues of ethical conduct are always in the center of attention at board and committee meetings, where appropriate instructions are given. Disciplinary measures are taken in respect to violations of these rules by civil servants; information on them is sent to the State Commission on Public Service Issues under the President of Azerbaijan.

Authorized employees of the committee are dispatched to the regions in order to monitor compliance with the rules of ethical conduct in the regional divisions of the State Committee on Property Issues.

In addition, workshops on "Rules of ethical conduct for civil servants" were held for the committee employees on December 9 and 22.

The rules are also published on the official website of the committee; sending messages and e-applications from the website is possible.
