BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 19. Iran's non-oil exports to Azerbaijan increased by 33 percent in value and 15 percent in weight during seven months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through October 21, 2024) compared to the same period last year (from March 21 through October 22, 2023).
The data obtained by Trend from the country's Customs Administration shows that Iran's exports of non-oil products to Azerbaijan for seven months amounted to 515,000 tons worth $403 million.
Statistics indicate that for the same period last year, Iran's export of non-oil products to Azerbaijan amounted to 447,000 tons worth more than $303 million.
According to the statistics, Iran mainly exported agricultural and food products, industrial products, and petrochemical and chemical products to Azerbaijan.
The data indicates that Iran's non-oil trade with Azerbaijan over a seven-month period reached an impressive 524,000 tons, translating to a substantial value of $422 million.
To note, Iran's exports of non-oil products amounted to 88.7 million tons worth $32.5 billion during seven months of the current Iranian year. Compared to the same period last year, non-oil exports increased by 15 percent in value and 11.4 percent in weight.
