ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, March 13. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has signed a decree to launch a large-scale project for the development of the Altyn Halka State Enterprise’s livestock farm, Trend reports.
The project includes the reconstruction of existing farm facilities, the construction of additional buildings and structures, and their equipping with modern technology. Additionally, it plans to procure necessary agricultural machinery, equipment, specialized vehicles, and high-yield cattle breeds.
According to the decree, construction work is set to begin in March 2025, with the full commissioning of the livestock farm scheduled for March 2026.
This decision aims to further develop Turkmenistan’s livestock sector, improve the population’s access to meat and dairy products, expand livestock production and processing, enhance agricultural animal productivity, and strengthen the country’s food security.
