ASTANA, Kazakhstan, May 27. Kazakhstan's wear and tear of energy infrastructure facilities will be reduced by up to 40 percent by 2029, said Sungat Yesimkhanov, Vice Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan, at a Government meeting, Trend reports.
According to him, the depreciation of energy infrastructure facilities included in the National Project "Modernization of the Energy and Utility Sectors" is planned to be reduced on average by 40 percent. According to the Ministry of Energy, the project includes 46 electric power supply enterprises and 28 heat supply enterprises.
At the same time, the implementation of projects in the generation sector will be carried out within the existing mechanisms of the electricity capacity market (auctions, investment agreements, tenders) and without the use of budget funds.
Today, a Government meeting is taking place in Kazakhstan. On the agenda are the results of the past heating season and preparation for the upcoming heating season.
