Azerbaijan boosts environmental spending with focus on climate-related projects
Azerbaijan’s 2024 state budget directed around 1.4 billion manat toward climate change-related measures in the environmental protection and agriculture sectors, with the vast majority allocated for adaptation. Additionally, total Sustainable Development Goal expenditures in education, agriculture, and environmental protection exceeded 5.7 billion manat.
