BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 20. Azerbaijan imported humanitarian cargo, aid, technical assistance, and gifts valued at $23.8 million, from January through July 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Customs Committee indicates that
this signifies a contraction of $28.9 million, equating to a 54.9
percent reduction, relative to the corresponding timeframe in the
previous fiscal year. The proportion of these commodities within
the aggregate import framework constituted 0.17 percent.
Furthermore, Azerbaijan engaged in the exportation of humanitarian
logistics, assistance packages, technical support, and
philanthropic contributions totaling $1.55 million during the
corresponding timeframe, reflecting a decrement of $1.7 million, or
51.9 percent, compared to the preceding fiscal year. The
aforementioned exports constituted a mere 0.01 percent of the
aggregate export volume.
