The Azerbaijani construction company Akkord has called 700 more employees back to work, the company said on Jan. 26.
Earlier Akkord sent 1,500 employees on an one-month leave after project delays.
The company recalled 500 employees on Jan. 16.
"Employees returned to work due to weather improvements. The weather had previously caused delays in the company's construction activities," Akkord said.
The employees will be involved in reconstructing the Baku-Shamakhi road and constructing a concrete road along the Baku-Russian border highway.
The company has recalled 1,200 of the 1,500 employees sent on temporary leave.
The remaining 300 people will be provided with work soon, the company reported.
