Purchasing capacity fell 20 percent in Q1 compared to the Q4 of 2008, Caspian Property Services assessment company Director for Marketing Elnur Azadov said.
"The market activity reduced 15 percent during this period," Azadov said.
He said the current situation is attributed to the world financial crisis.
It is difficult to forecast situation in the market by the end of the year, Azadov said.
Price on one square meters of housing in the first zone is 1,800 to 3,000 manat, 1,000 to 2,000 manat in the second zone, 700 manat to 1,000 manat in third zone and 700 manat in the fourth zone.
