The annual inflation rate in Georgia was 1.9 percent in November, the Georgian Statistics Agency said today.
The prices on food and beverages declined by 0.2 percent. Its share in the total inflation was 0.04 percentage points.
The prices reduced on fruits and grapes by 24.3 percent, vegetables, potatoes - 18.2 percent. The price increased on meat and meat products (21.5 percent), sugar and sweets (7.3 percent), milk, cheese and eggs (5.5 percent).
The prices increased on transport by 16.9 percent. A significant increase in prices was registered on civil road transport (24.3 percent), transportation (24.0 percent), fuel and engine oil (14.6 percent).
