The growth in the production of petroleum coke in Turkmenistan was 58.7 percent, cement – 28.6 percent, plastic and fiberglass pipes – 6.8 percent, as well as sausage products – 2.2 percent in January 2021, compared to the same period last year, Trend reports with reference to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
During the period, the volume of communication services increased by 6.8 percent.
In the agricultural sector, production of vegetables increased by 31.9 percent, meat – by 2.6 percent, milk – by 3.7 percent, and eggs – by 2 percent in January of this year.
The industrial sector achieved growth, including the production of liquefied gas in 2020, compared to the previous year– by 16.7 percent, lubricating oils – by 11.7 percent, polyethylene – by 83.5 percent, metal products – by 1.6 percent, plastic and fiberglass pipes – by 45.8 percent.
The Ministry of Industry and Construction Production of Turkmenistan has exceeded the plan for construction work and services rendered in 2020.
Thus, the Ministry's growth rate of industrial production, construction work performed and services rendered exceeded by 7.9 percent from January through December 2020 compared to last year.
During the reporting period, cement plants produced more than 1.9 million tons of cement.
The plan for the production of expanded clay was exceeded by 0.3 percent with a growth rate of 0.2 percent.
The plan for the production of rolled metal was fulfilled by 100 percent, the growth rate was 1.6 percent.
The plan for the production of construction glass was exceeded by 1.4 percent. The growth rate compared to the previous year is 0.1 percent.
The plan for the production of reinforced concrete structures was completed by 3.9 percent.
