Manufacturing of non-processed and semi-processed silver in Kazakhstan amounted to 555,003 kg over the period from January through July 2021, which is 3.8 percent less than during the same period of 2020, Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.
According to the data, non-processed and semi-processed silver production amounted to 42,548 kg in July 2021, which is 52.5 percent less than in July 2020.
Manufacturing of non-processed and semi-processed gold increased by 3.9 percent during the reporting period, having amounted to 62,701 kg (7,175 kg in July 2021, a decrease by 25.9 percent compared to July 2020).
Production of non-processed aluminum and aluminum oxide amounted to 925,632 tons during the reporting period, which indicates a decrease of 3.9 percent compared to the same period of last year.
The production volume of non-processed aluminum and aluminum oxide was 138,700 tons in July 2021, which is 4.2 percent less that in July 2020.
Manufacturing of non-processed refined lead amounted to 64,225 tons over the reporting period, which is 13.5 percent less than during the same period of 2020. The volume of non-processed refined lead produced in July 2021 was 8,990 tons, which is 8.8 percent less than in July 2020.
Production of non-processed zinc amounted to 183,954 tons, which is 0.4 percent more than during the same period of 2020 (21,989 tons in July 2021, down by 13.7 percent compared to July 2020).
As reported, the manufacturing of non-processed non-alloyed refined copper amounted to 266,917 tons, which is 6.7 percent less than during the same period of 2020 (22,797 tons in July 2021, which is 40.7 percent less than in July 2020).
Manufacturing of other non-ferrous metals and products from them amounted to 21,250 tons, which is 25.1 percent less than during the same period of 2020 (3,958 tons in July 2021, up by 89.9 percent compared to July 2020).
