The Iran Marine Industrial Company "Sadr" has begun manufacturing of the large-tonnage "Afromaks" oil tanker upon the order of Venezuela. On this occasion an event was held with the participation of officials of both countries in the Iranian city Bushahr, the Iranian Mehr news agency said.
Under the agreement between Iran and Venezuela, signed in 2007, Iran is committed to build four vessels with a capacity of 114 tons for Venezuela.
