The Surfactants and Organic Synthesis Plants of PU Azerkimya increased the production by 30 percent in November, the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), which owns PU Azerkimya, reported.
The plants increased the production of caustic soda, liquid chlorine, ethylene, propylene, styrene-divinyl fraction and other products.
The volume of chemical products manufactured by the PU increased by 33 percent in November compared to October due to gradual commissioning of the "Ethylene-polyethylene" Plant and other chemical enterprises.
The volume of commodity production rose by 8.1 percent in November compared to the same period last year.
Over the past two months, Turkey and Iran entered the list of the company's customers, which include Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan. The company will supply polyethylene to China in the next few days.
