The Turkmen Institute of Strategic Planning and Economic Development has said that it plans to achieve a production volume of about 37 billion kilowatt in electricity generation, around 67 million tons in oil production (including gas condensate), over 30 million tons in oil processing and about 230 billion cubic meters of natural gas inTurkmenistan by 2030.
More than 20 percent of generated electricity and more than 70 percent of natural gas will be shipped from Turkmenistan by that time.
The production of liquefied natural gas will also be increased greatly, with its consumption in the global market increasing rapidly.
There are also plans to raise the production of alternative fuel up to 1.1 million tons in 2030
On the basis of natural gas promising and ecologically pure fuel, as dimethyl ether may also be produced.
