TEHRAN, Iran, Feb.2
Trend:
Iran is keen to build power plants in other countries, said a member of Iran's Chamber of Commerce, Hamidreza Salehi, Trend reports citing ILNA.
"Iran can establish hydropower plants in Africa and other countries, while Iranian companies have already launched thermal power plants in Iraq, Syria, and Oman. An Iranian company has also launched a power plant project in Russia," he said.
"Iranian companies have sufficient technology and fewer costs to operate such projects. Iran is able to operate projects in neighboring countries that need electricity such as Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan," Salehi explained.
The price of operating power plant projects by Iranian companies is 20 percent less than the prices of big companies in other countries.
