ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, September 7. Turkmenistan's Halkara Gatnaw Logistika economic society has carried out the transit of containers to Kazakhstan, Trend reports.
Twenty containers loaded with passenger cars (sent from the UAE to Kazakhstan) were delivered to the warehouse terminal of the Turkmenistan's city of Serakhs on the border with Iran, from where the Turkmen enterprise was then transported by rail through the territory of Turkmenistan to the destination – Kazakh city of Almaty.
As of yet, the company has transported more than 100,000 tons of sulfur and other goods for export, more than 200,000 tons of cement for import, and also organized the transportation of coal and agricultural goods such as grain.
The technical capabilities of the enterprise make it possible to load/unload 170 tons of grain per hour, 200 tons per hour of coal and industrial cargo, as well as service more than 20 containers per hour.
Meanwhile, the company specializes in providing freight forwarding and logistics services in the field of rail transportation, including providing various types of railcar.
