TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, September 7. The volume of Uzbekistan's trade turnover with Germany amounted to $600.9 million from January through July 2024, the data of Uzbekistan's Statistics Agency said, Trend reports.
According to the information, this figure decreased by 1.3 percent compared to the same period last year ($608.9 million from January through July 2023).
Consequently, Germany has moved to the top eight countries in terms of Uzbekistan's foreign economic turnover.
Total exports to Germany from Uzbekistan amounted to $46.4 million, this figure decreased by 3.2 percent compared to the same period last year ($47.9 million from January through July 2023).
Uzbekistan's imports from Germany reached $554.5 million from January through June 2024. This indicator decreased by 1.1 percent compared to the same period last year ($560.9 million from January through July 2023).
To note, Uzbekistan's total trade turnover amounted to $36.8 billion from January through July 2024. This indicator increased by 5.4 percent compared to the same period last year ($34.9 billion from January through July 2023).
However, the country's exports reached $14.7 billion from January through July 2024, while imports totaled $22 billion.
