A consortium of Iranian and foreign investors is preparing to build what they call the new Tehran.
The first phase of new Tehran will include 100 towers and skyscrapers, 20 five or six-star hotels with international brands, 3 conference campuses each with numerous halls, recreation centers, sport centers, diplomatic zones, modern educational centers, 10 malls, many restaurants, police stations, etc., Mohammad Reza Sabzalipour, head of Iran's World Trade Center told Trend June 5.
He said besides Iranians, investors from European and Arab countries are in the consortium.
Sabzalipour said the initial funds considered for the project are several billion euros.
