Georgia's sheep exports from January through September 2021 increased by 161 percent to $24 million worth of sheep, compared to $20.5 million over the same period of 2020, Trend reports via National Statistics Office (Geostat).
Sheep exports from Georgia in September 2021 slightly decreased, compared to the same month of 2020, amounting to $4.3 million ($4.9 million in September 2020).
TOP-5 importers of Georgia's sheep:
Saudi Arabia – $18.1 million;
Azerbaijan – $4.6 million;
Kuwait – $1 million;
UAE – $175,000
Qatar – $112,000.
