BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 25. Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University is implementing projects in the field of renewable energy and water resource management, the University's rector, Rufat Azizov said at the Eurasian Universities Summit in Baku, Trend reports.
“We already have successful projects in the field of green energy, but more efforts are needed to systematically involve students in this process. In particular, we are working on projects related to large renewable energy sources and their implementation,” he said.
Azizov added that the university recently launched a new research project in collaboration with the Water Resources Management Agency.
“A major research project is currently underway on processing and integrity management in the oil and gas industry. These are important initiatives, but we need to strengthen trust between the academic community and the university,” the rector emphasized.
