Taliban Death Toll Reaches 40 Including Three Commanders

Afghanistan, Kabul, Dec. 15 / corr Trend A.  Hakimi / Asadullah Sheerzad, police chief in Helmand province of Afghanistan, said that Taliban death toll reached 40, including three famous Taliban commanders.

The operation launched days ago in this province to eliminate terrorists in this province continues till now.

Sheerzad have not given details about the identity and name of three commanders.

He only said that the operation will continue until the last insurgent is killed in the province.

Qari Yusoof Ahamadi, spokesman for Taliban, confirmed the fighting but said that those who are killed in this fighting are civilians not their followers.

He claimed that they have killed several foreign soldiers in this operation
