BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 16. A mine incident occurred in the Azerbaijan's Aghdara district, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Prosecutor General's Office and the Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) of the Republic of Azerbaijan told Trend.
The incident occurred in the village of Syrkhavand.
A resident of the Barda district, Natig Namig oglu Aliyev, born in 1990, stepped on a mine in the village.
The Agdere District Prosecutor's Office is investigating the incident.
ANAMA, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Prosecutor General's Office once again urge citizens to observe safety regulations, pay attention to mine hazard signs, and avoid entering unfamiliar areas.
