Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend P.Amirjanov / On 10 July the Chairman of the United Nations Committee for Rights of the Child, Yakob Duk and UNICEF envoy to Azerbaijan , Gaana Singer, met with the Justice Minister and Chairman of the Legal Council of Azerbaijan, Fikrat Mammadov, the Ministry reports.
Mammadov provided information on the work implemented in Azerbaijan with regards to the protection of children's rights. The Chairman of the United Nations Committee said that special attention is paid in the country to the protection of children's rights and spoke of international experience in this sphere.
