The International Monetary Fund (IMF) expects that by the end of 2021, inflation in Azerbaijan will grow by 1.6 percent compared to last year, reaching 4.4 percent, Trend reports citing the IMF.
According to IMF, inflation in Azerbaijan averaged 2.8 percent by the end of 2020.
IMF forecasts that annual inflation in Azerbaijan in 2022 will decrease by 1.2 percent compared to this year's indicator - to 3.2 percent.
Earlier it was reported that the Central Bank of Azerbaijan announced inflation forecasted in 2021 at the level of four percent.
