BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 19. Exports of clothes from Turkiye to Kazakhstan increased by 34.8 percent from January through May 2022 compared to the same period last year and amounted to $85.2 million, Turkish Trade Ministry told TurkicWorld, Trend reports.
Turkiye reduced the export of clothes to Kazakhstan by 17.6 percent (to $15.95 million) in May 2022 compared to the same month last year.
The export of clothes from Turkiye increased by 15.8 percent from January through May 2022 compared to the same period last year and amounted to $8.8 billion.
Turkiye exported $1.3 billion worth of clothes in May 2022, up 3 percent from May last year.
Turkiye has exported clothes worth $21.4 billion over the past 12 months (from May 2021 through May 2022).
